My journal with WTF has been nothing short of incredible. I’ve learned things about myself that I never knew I was capable of. I’ve lost weight, gained muscle, and have much more energy and endurance than I have before. The most surprising thing that I learned about myself is that I love RUNNING ON THE TREADMILL. That’s the thing I used to hate the most when I was out of shape. HAHA. Mark’s training style is exactly what I needed when I had no direction or understanding of how to effectively eat and exercise my way to a healthy lifestyle. Mark showed me exactly how to exercise, why we do the exercises, and what they do for my body. He also taught me how to eat healthier and stick with it in the long term, instead of throwing me on some fad diet. Not only that, but I’ve been able to surprise myself by placing high scores on many different workout challenges that we’ve done in the past few months. If it weren’t for Mark pushing me to do my very best, I wouldn’t have achieved the results that I have achieved. He is a strong motivator and best of all, this isn’t just a guy training a person for a paycheck. He’s building a family. At Worthy, we are all a family working to the same goal… living a healthy lifestyle. Working with Mark has been one of the best investments I have ever made.

I started with WTF because my wife was already working with Mark and seeing success. My experience has been fantastic! Mark’s personalization around what you’re capable of, what ails you, your goals, your available time, etc. is the key. In the beginning, I couldn’t make it through an entire workout and now the workouts are opportunities to really push myself to new achievements. Along the way, we’ve fixed/managed several chronic pain issues, I’ve learned more about how the body works, and learned good form and proper technique. We’ve pushed when we could, pulled back when we should, and more times that I can count Mark has changed up what we were doing to still get an effective workout without exacerbating anything that was bothering me.
And this has really been fun! Workouts with laughter are the best. The sense of community with Mark and my fellow WTFers is truly motivating. I’ve set personal records I couldn’t conceive of when I started 2 years ago and I’m in the best shape of my life now. WTF has become a non-negotiable must have for me!

Met Mark and Murray back in the Summer of 2015 after I had my second baby boy. I was able to try the MTS/WTF Super Moms class at the park. It was a great experience. Fast forward to a few classes later, I decided to take my fitness to the next level. I wanted to get my body and my mind in shape.
Mark has been the best trainer! He is professional, motivating, and holds reasonable expectations. I have been able to take my kids to every single session and class, which is a huge factor. :) The kids love the Caraway family and always have fun with their children. It’s the greatest experience. It’s such a wonderful family environment.
Mark doesn't make you do any crazy diets, rather he has you follow certain guidelines that are tailored to you as an individual. He is there to help you reach your goals. I have lost over 40 pounds and many inches in my close to 3 years working out with Mark. I ran my first 5K and have many since, and have even completed a quarter marathon.
I have learned so much from this family in my time here. That is the key word here...family...that is what the WTF team is all about! 😊
Not only am I getting in shape mentally and physically, I am also making friends, better choices in life, and all around feel better about myself. So glad I joined that class back in the summer! :) I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.
My WTF Journey - Michelle
I was very active in my teenage years through my twenties. After settling into my career, the years passed by and I was not prioritizing my health. Approximately two years ago, I discovered a “supermom” fitness class directed by Mark. I really enjoyed his philosophy with fitness, so I opted to start training with him on a one-on-one basis.
In my opinion, there are two areas of emphasis for Mark – total body wellness and proper technique. Total body wellness does not include just the fitness aspect but also involves the nutritional aspect and the mind. Not only does he push you with challenging workouts, he also provides easy to follow meal plans. When you follow his workouts and meal plans – you see results, which means your overall confidence improves!
He helps achieve your goals. For example, a year ago, I wanted to try competitive powerlifting. He helped me set goals, create a path to get to them, and tweaked my nutrition to help me stay on target.
Mark also is knowledgeable and observant. He knows how the body moves and has an eye at identifying even the slightest improper form. This emphasis helps ensure long term health by sharply reducing risk of injury.
With Mark’s help, I feel like me again! I may no longer be in my 20s, but I am as strong and as fit as I was then. As a bonus, I have lost over 40 pounds! I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone interested in setting the foundations for improved fitness and living a healthier lifestyle!
